Towing Services Act 2024 Commencement Proclamation 2025

Made under the Towing Services Act 2024 section 2(c) by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

This proclamation is the Towing Services Act 2024 Commencement Proclamation 2025.

2.Commencement

The following provisions of the Towing Services Act 2024 come into operation on 10 January 2025 —

• (a)

  Part 2 (but only Division 2 and only sections 15 and 16);

• (b)

  Part 3 (but only Division 1 and only section 40);

• (c)

  section 69;

• (d)

  Part 5 —

  • (i)

    Division 1;

  • (ii)

    Division 2 (but only sections 71 and 74);

  • (iii)

    Division 3 (other than section 78(3));

• (e)

  Parts 6 to 8;

• (f)

  Part 9 (other than section 162);

• (g)

  Part 10;

• (h)

  Part 11 (other than Division 4).
