I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Totalizator Agency Board Privatisation Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 25 February 1998 as the day on which Parts 4 and 5 of, and Schedule 3 to, that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain uncommenced provisions of the Totalizator Agency Board Privatisation Act 1997 that deal with the conversion of the Totalizator Agency Board into a public company and the management of that company after that conversion but before the sale of that company.
