I, the Honourable James Jacob Spigelman, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Totalizator Agency Board Privatisation Act

1997, do, by this my Proclamation. appoint 21 August 1998 as the day on

which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence section 34 of. and Schedule 4 to, the Totalizator Agency Board Privatisation Act 1997. Those provisions concern amendments t o certain Acts consequent o n the sale of TAB Limited.
