TOTALIZATOR AGENCY BOARD PRIVATISATION ACT 1997

No 43—PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Totalizator Agency Board Privatisation Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 6 March 1998 as the day on which Part 8 (except section 34) of that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain uncommenced provisions of
the above Act that deal with the sale of TAB Limited. The remaining uncommenced

provisions (namely section 34 and Schedule 4) deal with amendments to other Acts that

are to commence on that sale.
