Totalizator (Distribution of Commission—Racecourse Totalizators) Amendment Order 1997

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to amend the Totalizator (Distribution of Commission—Racecourse Totalizators) Order 1996 to describe the money to be distributed as various types of commission in terms of proportions of total commission rather than, as at present, in terms of percentages of investments. The amendment does not affect the amounts of commission to be paid or the distribution of those amounts.

This Order is made under section 8A of the Totalizator Act 1916.

1 Name of Order

This Order is the Totalizator (Distribution of Commission—
Racecourse Totalizators) Amendment Order 1997.

2     Amendment of Totalizator (Distribution of Commission— Racecourse Totalizators) Order 1996

The Totalizator (Distribution of Commission—Racecourse Totalizators) Order 1996 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
