TOTALIZATOR ACT 1916—RULE

(Relating to the description of forecast totalizators)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Totalizator Act 1916, has been pleased to make

the Rule set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Rule commences on 1st July, 1992.

Amendments

2. The Forecast Totalizator Rules 1968 are amended:

(a) by inserting after the words “Forecast Totalizator” in Rule 1 (f)

the words “or “Exacta Totalizator” ”;

(b) by omitting the words “the Forecast totalizator” from Rule 1 (f)
and by inserting instead the words “a forecast totalizator or an
Exacta totalizator”;

(c)

by inserting after the word “Forecast” wherever occurring in Rule 1 (j) the words “or “Exacta” ”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of this Rule is to enable the expression “Exacta totalizator” to be

used to refer to a forecast totalizator.
