TOTALIZATOR ACT 1916—REGULATION

(Relating to the description of forecast totalizators)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Totalizator Act 1916, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1st July, 1992.

Amendments

2. The Forecast Totalizator Regulations 1968 are amended:

by inserting after the words “ “Forecast Totalizator” ” in
Regulation 1A (b) the words “or “Exacta Totalizator” ”;
by inserting after the words “a “Forecast” totalizator” in
Regulation 1A (c) the words “or an “Exacta” totalizator”;
by omitting from the Schedule the word “Forecast” wherever

occurring and by inserting instead the word “Exacta”;

by omitting from the Schedule the word “FORECAST” wherever

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of this Regulation is to enable the expression “Exacta totalizator” to be used to refer to a forecast totalizator.
