TOTALISATOR AGENCY BOARD (BETTING) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1997

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Totalisator Agency Board (Betting)

Amendment Regulations 1997.

Principal regulations

2. In these regulations the Totalisator Agency Board (Betting)

Regulations 1988* are referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 5 amended

3.     Regulation 5 (2) of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "all

totalisator agencies" and substituting the following —
" its head office ".
Regulation 36 amended

4.     (1) Regulation 36 (1) of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in paragraph (a) —

(i)      by inserting after "Goulbourn," the following — " Gunbower, ";

(ii)      by inserting after "Hamilton," the following —

(iii) by deleting "Packenham," and substituting the following —

" Pakenham, ";

(b) in paragraph (b) by inserting after "Fairfield," the following — " Finley, ";
(c) in paragraph (c) by inserting after "Mackay," the following — " Parklands, ";
(d)
in paragraph (d) by deleting "or Strathalbyn;" and substituting the following —

" Strathalbyn, Wayville or Whyalla; "; and

(e)

in paragraph (g) by inserting after "Addington," the following — " Aintree, ".

(2) Regulation 36 (2) of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in paragraph (a) by inserting before "Angle Park," the

following —

" Albion Park, "; and

(b) in paragraph (e) —
(i) by inserting after "Devonport," the following — " Elwick, "; and
(ii) following —

by deleting "or Launceston;" and substituting the

Launceston or Mowbray ;".

(3) Regulation 36 (3) (b) (ii) of the principal regulations is amended by

inserting after "Cunderdin," the following —
" Geraldton, ".
