BETTING AMENDMENT ACT 1994

No. 24 of 1994

AN ACT to amend the Totalisator Agency Board Betting

Act 1960 to permit the TAB to participate in a

combined scheme with a body corporate prescribed

for that purpose, and for related purposes.

[Assented to 23 June 1994.]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Totalisator Agency Board

Betting Amendment Act 1994.

Commencement

2.    This Act comes into operation on the day on which it

receives the Royal Assent.

Principal Act

3. In this Act the Totalisator Agency Board Betting Act 1960* is

referred to as the principal Act.

Section 20 amended

4.     Section 20 (1) of the principal Act is amended in paragraph

(ca) by inserting, after "statutory body", the following —

if

, or by a body corporate prescribed for the purposes of

section 27,

5.     Section 27 of the principal Act is amended by inserting, after

"or other authority," the following —
