AN ACT to amend the Totalisator Agency Board

Betting Act 1960.

[Assented to 16 October 1985.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent s' Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. This Act may be cited as the Totalisator Short title.

Sections 45

and 45	2. Sections 45 and 46 of the Totalisator Agency
amended.

Reprinted as	Board Betting Act 1960 are amended in the penalty
approved
22 January	to subsection (1) of each of those sections
1979.

(a) by deleting "one thousand dollars nor exceeding two thousand dollars or imprisonment for two months" and sub- stituting the following

$5 000 nor exceeding $10 000 or imprisonment for 3 months "; and

(b) by deleting "two hundred dollars nor exceeding one thousand dollars" and sub- stituting the following-

4i $500 nor exceeding $2 000 ".
