This regulation may be cited as the Torres Strait Islander Land Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the TorresStraitIslanderLandRegulation1991 . ˙ Insertion of new pt 8 and schedule 3. After section 56— insert— ‘ PART 8—DECLARATIONS ˙ ‘ Transferred land that is not claimable land—Act, s 15(3) ‘ 57. The transferred land described in the schedule is not claimable land. ‘ SCHEDULE ‘ TRANSFERRED LAND THAT IS NOT CLAIMABLE LAND section 57 ‘ 1. Lot 46 on TS205, 1 county of Torres, parish of Umaga, 2 area of about 46.9 ha.’. 1 A copy of the plan is available for inspection in the Department of Natural Resources, 15 Lake Street, Cairns. 2 This land is in the vicinity of latitude 9° 45' 57" south, longitude 143° 15' 39" east.
