Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) (Membership Amendment) Regulations 2007

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2006 to reappoint two members of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 April 2007.

4Reappointment of two members of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation

In regulation 4 of the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2006[1]—

(a)for subregulation (a) substitute

"(a)  Professor Richard Smallwood, a person with expertise in health and illness prevention, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 31 March 2008;";

(b) for subregulation (j) substitute

"(j)Jerril Rechter, a person with expertise in the arts and arts administration, is appointed a member of the Foundation for the period ending 31 March 2008;".
