Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Further Amendment Regulations 2019

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011 to provide for the appointment of a new member of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2020.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Appointment of members of Foundation

(1)After regulation 5(1)(c)(i) of the Principal Regulations insert

"(ii)Ms Peggy O'Neal; and".

(2)After regulation 5(10) of the Principal Regulations insert

"(11)The appointment under subregulation (1)(c)(ii) is for the period commencing on 1 January 2020 and ending on 30 June 2023.".
