Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Amendment Regulations 2025

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020 to appoint one new member of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 5 March 2025.

4Appointment of members of Foundation

(1)For regulation 5(1)(a)(i) of the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020[1] substitute—

"(i)Professor Danielle Mazza AM; and".

(2)For regulation 5(2) of the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020 substitute—

"(2)The appointment referred to in subregulation (1)(a)(i) is for the period commencing on 5 March 2025 and ending on 4 March 2028.".
