Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Amendment Regulations 2022

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020—

(a)to provide for the reappointment of one member of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation; and

(b)to provide for the appointment of 2 new members of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2022.

4Appointment of members of Foundation

(1)For regulation 5(1)(c)(i) of the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020[1] substitute—

"(i)Mr Vedran Drakulic; and".

(2)In regulation 5(1)(d) of the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020, for "Ms Veronica Pardo" substitute "Ms Jamie Lewis".

(3)For regulation 5(4) of the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020 substitute—

"(4)The appointment referred to in subregulation (1)(a)(iii) is for the period commencing on 1 July 2022 and ending on 30 June 2027.".

(4)In regulation 5(8) of the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020, for "ending on 30 June 2023" substitute "commencing on 1 July 2022 and ending on 30 June 2025".

(5)After regulation 5(9) of the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2020 insert—

"(9A)The appointment referred to in subregulation (1)(d) is for the period commencing on 1 July 2022 and ending on 30 June 2025.".
