Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Amendment Regulations 2018

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011 to—

(a)provide for the appointment of 3 persons as members of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation; and

(b)remove reference to a former member of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation who has resigned.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 4 September 2018.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Appointment of members of Foundation

(1)For regulation 5(1)(b)(i) of the Principal Regulations substitute—

"(i)Ms Stella Smith; and".

(2)Regulation 5(1)(b)(ii) of the Principal Regulations is revoked.

(3)For regulation 5(1)(c)(i) of the Principal Regulations substitute—

"(i)Ms Sheena Watt; and".

(4)For regulation 5(2) of the Principal Regulations substitute—

"(2)The appointment under subregulation (1)(e) is for the period commencing on 4 September 2018 and ending on 3 September 2021.".

(5)For regulation 5(7) of the Principal Regulations substitute—

"(7)The appointment under subregulation (1)(b)(i) is for the period commencing on 4 September 2018 and ending on 3 September 2021.".

(6)For regulation 5(9) of the Principal Regulations substitute—

"(9)The appointment under subregulation (1)(c)(i) is for the period commencing on 4 September 2018 and ending on 3 September 2021.".
