Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Amendment Regulations 2013

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011 to provide for the appointment of two new members of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 43 of the Tobacco Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2013.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Tobacco (Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) Regulations 2011[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Appointment of members of Foundation

(1)For regulation 5(1)(e) of the Principal Regulations substitute—

"(e)for the purposes of section 21(1)(e) of the Act, Mr Stephen Walter.".

(2)For regulation 5(2) of the Principal Regulations substitute—

"(2)The appointment under subregulation (1)(e) is for the period commencing on 1 July 2013 and ending on 30 June 2018.".

(3)At the foot of regulation 5(3) of the Principal Regulations insert—

"Note

The appointments under subregulations (1)(a)(ii) and (iii) and (1)(b)(i), (ii) and (iv) and (1)(d) commenced on 1 July 2011.".

(4)For regulation 5(4) of the Principal Regulations substitute—

"(4)The appointments under subregulations (1)(a)(i), (1)(b)(iii) and (1)(c)(i) are for the period ending on 30 June 2016.".

(5)At the foot of regulation 5(4) of the Principal Regulations insert—

"Note

The appointments under subregulations (1)(a)(i), (1)(b)(iii) and (1)(c)(i) commenced on 1 July 2011.".

(6)After regulation 5(4) of the Principal Regulations insert—

"(5)The appointment under subregulation (1)(c)(ii) is for the period commencing on 1 July 2013 and ending on 30 June 2016.".
