Tobacco Products Control Amendment

Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Tobacco Products Control Amendment
Regulations 2014.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette (gazettal day);
(b)	the rest of the regulations —

(i) Western Australian Photo Card Act 2014, other
than sections 1 and 2, comes into operation

if gazettal day is before the day on which the card commencement day; or

(ii)      otherwise — on the day after gazettal day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Tobacco Products Control
Regulations 2006.

4.             Regulation 31 replaced

Delete regulation 31 and insert:

31.           Proof of age

For the purposes of section 15(1)(c), the following
documents are prescribed —

(a)	a current photo card as defined in the Western Australian Photo Card Regulations 2014 regulation 3;
(b)

a proof of age card issued to a person under the regulation 18B.
