PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE EXCISE ACT 1901.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulations under the Excise Act 1901 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulations to come into operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

Drawback Regulations.

Regulation No. 50 of the Regulations made under the Excise Act 1901, (Statutory Rules 1908, No. 68) is hereby amended by the addition of the following:—

“Condensed Milk—when samples not submitted for analysis, 7-20ths.

“Condensed Milk—when samples submitted for analysis, 2-5ths.

(Provided that where the analysis shows a less proportion of sugar contents than 2-5ths, drawback shall only be allowed in respect of the actual sugar contents).”
