Threatened Species Protection Order 2011

I make the following order under section 13(5) of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 .28 February 2011

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Threatened Species Protection Order 2011 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal ActIn this order, the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Schedule 3 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are endangered) Schedule 3 to the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting item 4 from Subdivision 1 of Division 1 of Part 1 ; (b) by inserting after item 5 in Subdivision 1 of Division 1 of Part 1 the following:

5A.  Ceyx azureus diemenensis (Gould) Tasmanian Azure Kingfisher

(c) by omitting item 1 from Subdivision 2 of Division 1 of Part 1 and substituting the following:

1.  Antipodia chaostola leucophaea Couchman, Lepidoptera Tasmanian Chaostola Skipper

(d) by omitting item 17 from Subdivision 2 of Division 1 of Part 1 and substituting the following:

17.  Discocharopa vigens Legrand, Eupulmonata Ammonite Snail

(e) by inserting after item 21 in Subdivision 2 of Division 1 of Part 1 the following:

21A.  Hypolimnus pedderensis (Jamieson), Haplotaxida Lake Pedder Earthworm

(f) by omitting item 44 from Subdivision 2 of Division 2 of Part 1 ; (g) by inserting after item 56A in Subdivision 2 of Division 2 of Part 1 the following:

56B.  Wurmbea latifolia T.D.Macfarl., Liliaceae broadleaf early nancy

(h) by omitting item 6 from Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 2 ; (i) by omitting item 6 from Subdivision 2 of Division 2 of Part 2 . 5Schedule 4 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are vulnerable) Schedule 4 to the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting item 9 from Division 2 of Part 1 ; (b) by inserting after item 4 in Division 2 of Part 2 the following:

4A.  Sowerbaea juncea Andrews, Liliaceae purple rushlily

6Schedule 5 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are rare) Part 2 of Schedule 5 to the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting item 10 from Division 1 and substituting the following:

10.  Asperula scoparia subsp. scoparia Hook.f., Rubiaceae prickly woodruff

(b) by omitting item 44 from Division 1 ; (c) by inserting after item 70 in Division 1 the following:

70A.  Hibbertia rufa N.A.Wakef., Dilleniaceae brown guineaflower

(d) by omitting item 115 from Division 1 and substituting the following:

115.  Pomaderris phylicifolia Lodd. ex Link, Rhamnaceae narrowleaf dogwood

(e) by omitting item 135 from Division 1 ; (f) by omitting item 136 from Division 1 and substituting the following:

135.	Stylidium beaugleholei	J.H.Willis, Stylidiaceae	blushing triggerplant
136.	Stylidium despectum	R.Br., Stylidiaceae	small triggerplant

(g) by inserting after item 70 in Division 2 the following:

70A.  Pterostylis atriola D.L.Jones, Orchidaceae snug greenhood

(h) by omitting item 80 from Division 2 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order) This order amends the

(a) adding certain species to, and omitting certain species from, the Schedules of endangered, vulnerable and rare flora and fauna; and (b) updating certain taxonomic, authority, family, order and common name references in the Schedules.
