I, the Minister for the Environment, in pursuance of section 9 (3) (a) and (4) of the Threatened

Species Conservation Act 1995, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to amend the lists of threatened species in Schedules 1, 1A and 2 to the
Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 by inserting or omitting asterisks to indicate that particular threatened species have become, or have ceased to be, listed threatened species under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 of the Commonwealth.
This Order is made under section 9 (3) (a) and (4) of the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Threatened Species Conservation Amendment Order 2017.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published in the Gazette.
