THREATENED SPECIES CONSERVATION ACT 1995 No 101

Notice of Final Determination and Amendment of Schedule 1 to Act

The Scientific Committee constituted under the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 has, in pursuance of Division 3 of Part 2 of that Act, made a final determination to insert the following population of animals in Schedule 1 to that Act and, accordingly, that Schedule is amended as set out

in Annexure “A” to this Notice:

Mammals

Macropodidae

Petrogale penicillata (Gray, 1852) Brush-tailed Rock-Wallaby,
Warrumbungles population

The final determination to insert this population in Schedule 1 has been made because the Scientific Committee is of the opinion that its numbers have been reduced to such a critical level that it is in immediate danger of extinction and that the population is disjunct and at or near the limit of its geographic range.

Copies of the final determination may be inspected at:

The Information Centre (Level 1 ) National Parks & Wildlife Service

HURSTVILLE NSW 2220

and at all District Offices of the National Parks and Wildlife Service during
