THREATENED SPECIES CONSERVATION ACT 1995 No 101

Notice of Final Determination and Amendment of Schedule 1 to Act

The Scientific Committee constituted under the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 has, in pursuance of Division 3 of Part 2 of that Act, made a final determination to insert the following species of vertebrate animals, provisionally listed in Schedule 1 to that Act, in that Schedule and that Schedule is amended accordingly:

Amphibians

Myobatrachidae

Neobatrachus pictus Peters, 1863 Painted Burrowing Frog

Reptiles

Scincidae

Egernia margaretae Storr, 1968

Typhlopidae

Ramphotyphlops endoterus (Waite, 1918)

Mammals

Vombatidae

Lasiorhinus latifrons (Owen, 1845) Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat

Burramyidae

Cercartetus concinnus (Gould, 1845) Western Pygmy Possum

The final determination to insert these species in Schedule 1 has been made because the Scientific Committee is of the opinion that these species are likely to become extinct in nature in New South Wales unless the circumstances and factors threatening their survival cease to operate.

Copies of the final determination may be inspected at:
