Notice of Final Determination

THE Scientific Committee, established by the Threatened Species Conservation Act has made a Final Determination to list Thersites mitchellae (Cox, 1864), a large land snail, as an ENDANGERED SPECIES on Part 1, Schedule 1 of the Threatened Species Conservation Act.

The Scientific Committee is of the opinion that the species is likely to become extinct in nature in New South Wales unless the factors threatening its survival cease to operate and its numbers have been reduced to such a critical level that it is in immediate danger of extinction.

and at all District Offices of the National Parks and Wildlife Service during

normal business hours.
