HAYNE J: The applicants seek special leave to appeal against the orders of a single judge of the Family Court of Australia (Coleman J). By those orders, Coleman J allowed the applicants’ appeal against certain orders of Scarlett FM, set aside those orders, and ordered a retrial of the proceeding in which the orders were made. That proceeding relates to the sale of a property by the second respondent to the applicants, following the separation of the first and second respondents.
Because the applicants are unrepresented, the application falls to be dealt with under r 41.10 of the High Court Rules 2004.
The applicants’ written submissions contain no arguable ground for the grant of special leave, nor do they raise any question of principle that warrants consideration by this Court. It is not in the interests of justice generally or in the particular case that there be a grant of special leave.
Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application. I publish that disposition.
AT 9.25 AM THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED
