An Ordinance to amend the Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 1928

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Theatres and Public Halls

(Amendment) Ordinance 1982.1

Commencement

2. This Ordinance shall come into operation on such date as is fixed by the

Minister of State for the Capital Territory by notice in the Gazette.

3. Section 26 of the Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 19282 is

amended by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:

"(3) This section does not apply in relation to an authorized public

assembly within the meaning of the Public Assemblies Ordinance 1982.".
