An Ordinance to amend the Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 1928
Short title
| 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Theatres and Public | Halls |
(Amendment) Ordinance 1982.1
Commencement
2. This Ordinance shall come into operation on such date as is fixed by the
| Minister of State for the Capital Territory by notice in the | Gazette. |
| Prohibition or regulation of entertainments and meetings |
Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at
3. Section 26 of the Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 19282 is
amended by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:
"(3) This section does not apply in relation to an authorized public
| assembly within the meaning of the Public Assemblies | Ordinance 1982.". |
