AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 1928-1968.

I THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of , Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council,
hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government
(Administration) Act 1910-1970.

THEATRES AND PUBLIC HALLS ORDINANCE 1971

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 1971.*

(2.) The Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 1928-1968,f as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 1928-1971.

2. Section 27 of the Theatres and Public Halls Ordinance 1928-

1968 is amended—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at
(a) by omitting from sub-section (1.) the words "any

Sunday "; and

(b) by omitting sub-section (2.) and inserting in its stead the

following sub-section:—

"(2 . ) The last preceding sub-section does not apply to any public entertainment or public meeting the holding of which is authorized in writing by the Minister.".
