HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Theatres and Public Halls Act 1908, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation takes effect on 1 September 1990.
Repeal
2. The Theatres and Public Halls (General) Regulation 1977 is repealed.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to repeal the Theatres and Public Halls (General) Regulation 1977. The provisions of this instrument are being incorporated into Ordinance No. 70 under the Local Government Act 1919 as a consequence of the transfer to that Act (effected by the Local Government (Theatres and Public Halls) Amendment Act 1989 and the Miscellaneous Acts (Theatres and Public Halls) Amendment Act 1989) of the provisions of the Theatres and Public Halls Act 1908 relating to places of public entertainment.
