No. 736. An Act to amend the Water Conservation Acts.

the Parliament of South Australia, as follows:
1, This Act may be cited as " Thc Water ('onservation Amend-short title.

5. The maximum amount of any rate declared under section 106 |
of
'c The Water Conservation Act, 1886," for any onc year may exceed Two 3hillings in the Pound on the assesed annual value of any property, but shall not exceed Two Shillings and Sixpence in the Pound: Provided always that, in the case of any ratable tenement the assessed annual value of which does not exceed Ten Pounds, the Board may declare a minimum annual rate of One Pound sterling.
