1. These regulations may be cited as The Stock Foods Regulations, 1967.

2. The substances listed in the first and second schedules hereto shall be deemed foreign

ingredients relative to any stock food.

3. No stock food shall contain any of the substances listed in the fist schedule hereto.

4. The proportion or amount of the substances listed in the second schedule hereto which may be contained in any stock food shall not exceed the proportion or amounts respectively specified in the said schedule for each substance.

5. (a) Thiofurfuran shall be deemed a foreign ingredient relative to any stock food, and

except as provided in paragraph (b) of this regulation, no stock food shall contain Thiafurfuran.

(b) Stock foods intended only as pig feeds may contain Thiofurfuran provided that the proportion or amount of Thiofurfuran contained in any such stock food shall be not less than 16 p.p.m. nor more than 40 p.p.m.

6. No person shall sell, offer or expose for sale, or have in his possession for sale, any stock

food which does not comply with these regulations.
