1. In the construction, for the purposes of this Act, the word Interpretation,

6, After the expiration of six months from the last day of the month of issue, any note issued under the provisions of this Act shall be payable only on payment of a commission equal to the amount of the original fee-stamp, with the addition (if more than six months have elapsed since the said expiration) of the amount of the original fee-stamp for every further period of six months which has so elapsed, and for every portion of any such period of six months over and above every complete period.

6. Every postmaster or other officer who sells a postal note shall,

misbehaviour on the part of the person chargeable therewith.
