An Act to enable the Corporation of the City of Port Adelaide to join in the scheme of Municipal Electric Tramways authorised by " The Muni- cipal Tramways Trust Act, 1906."

Trust Act, 1906 " (hereinafter called " the principal Act,") and the principal Act and this Act shall be read together as one Act.

3, On and from the passing of this Act :-

(a) The Corporation of the City of Port Adelaide shall be a Suburban Corporation and shall be subject to the same liabilities and have the same rights as if originally included as a Suburban Corporation in the principal Act; and the definition of " Suburban Corporations " in section 3 of the principal Act shall be read as including the said Corporation:

(d) The moneys required for or in connection with the exer- cise by the Trust of the power, conferred by section 30 of the principal Act, to purchase the tramways and undertaking referred to in section 56 of the Port Adelaide and Suburban Tramway Act, 1877 " shall be included in the meaning of the term the cost of pur- chase," and the provisions of the principal Act as to the cost of purchase shall apply thereto.

porations of the City of Unley and the Towns of Kensington and Norwood, St. Peters, Hindmarsh, and Thebarton shall, subject to the provisions of the principal Act, continue to hold office for the balance of the periods for which they were appointed respectively, but the Corporation of the City of Port Adelaide shall be entitled to take part in every appointment of a member by the Suburban Corporations after the passing of this Act.
