An Act to amend The Police Act, 1892.'

| and by the authority of the same, as follows :- |
short GEE 1. This Act may be cited for all purposes as The Police Act, 1892, Amendment Act, 1894' (No. 2), and shall be incorporated with and read as part of The Police Act, 1892.'
| Persons betting | 2. Every person betting or offering to bet by way of wagering or gaming on any racecourse or in any public place, or in any place to which the public are or shall be permitted to have access, whether on payment of money or otherwise, shall be liable, on conviction, to a penalty of not less than forty shillings nor more than One hundred pounds, and for a second offence shall be deemed a rogue and vagabond within the true intent and meaning of 'The Police Act, 1892,' and as such may be convicted and punished under the provisions of that Act. |
