An Act to amend " The Mining Act, 1893."

E it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Australia,

follows:

B with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as

1, This Act inay be cited as " The Mining Act Amendment Act, Short title.

2, The provisions of Part IV. of " The Mining Act, 1893," shall Part

extend to every stone or flux quarry on private or Crown lands, and q u a ~ w.

every such quarry shall, for the purposes of such Part, be deemed

to be a mine, and the work done i n such quarry shall be deemed

to be mining.
