An Act to amend the Lottery and Gaming Act Amend-

ment Act, No. 426 of 1888.

HEREAS it is desirable to amend

The Lottery and Gaming preamble.

W Act Amendment Act, 1888 "-Be i t therefore Enacted by the

Governor, with the advice and consent of the Parliament of South

Australia, as follows:

1, This Act may be cited as G The Lottery and Gaming Act Shorttiae-

Further Amendment Act, 1902."

2, Notwithstanding anything contained in section 6 of "The h e h m t o f Aat

426 of 1888,

of Police, subject to the approval of the Chief Secretary, may issue a licence, in teimsi of the said Act and regulations thereunder, for the use of the totalizator on the racecourses used by the following racing clubs, viz. :-Jarnestown Jockey Club, North-western Jockey Club, and Quorn Jockey Club, irrespective of the distance of such racecourse from any other licensed course: Provided that such racing club shall consist of at least fifty members, whose annual subscriptions shall amount to not less than Fifty Pounds.
