An Act to further amend "The Volunteer Act, 1865-6,"
and " The Rifle Companies Act, 1878."
HEREAS it is expedient to further amend " The Volunteer
Preamble.

it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the ad&e and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of thc said province, in this preacnt Parliament assembled, as follows:
1. This Act may for all purposes be cited asc c The Local ForcesShe* title.

2. This Act, so far as is consistent with the tenor thereof; shallIncorporati~n.
be incorporated and construed as one with '' The Volunteer Act, 1865-6," Act No. 19 of 1866-7,

Governor is empowered tp raise, organize, arm, equip, train, and
rmd, construed, and have effect as if the words " one thousand
five hundred" were inserted therein in lieu of the words "one
thousand" appearing in the fifth line thereof.
