1, This Act may be cited as " The Language of Acts Amendment Short title.

2. In every Act of Parliament, whether passed before or aftcr thc Meaning of writing.

coming into operation of this Act, and in all regulations, general orders, rules, and by-laws authorised under any Act of Parliament, expressions referring to writing shall, unless thc dontrary intention appears, be construed as including references to printing, type- writing, lithography, photography, and other modes of representing words in rt visible form.
