An Act to further amend the " Bank Holidays Act, 1873,"

and the " Civil Service Act, 1874."

with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as

follows:

1, This Act may be cited as

The Holidays Act, 1909."

Short title.

2.

The Act No. 351 of 1882 is hereby repealed.

Repeal of Act 261 of

1882.

3, After the passing of

this Act, the " Bank Holidays Act, second W e d n e s b ~

in October to be a

Civil Service Act, 1874," shall be read as if those boliaq.

Acts provided that the second Wednesday in October in every year

should be kept and observed as a bank holiday and a holiday in 19 of 1873, and ~ c t
