An Act to amend the Education Acts, and for other

purposes.

it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of' the Parliament thereof, as

follows:

1, This Act may be cited as " The Education Acts Amendment Short title.

Act, 1905."

2, Notwithstanding anything contained in section 4 of

sory, shall attend a public school or a certified efficient school not

less than four times in every week during which the school which such child is required to attend is open six times, six times in every week during which such school is open eight times, and eight times in every week during which such school is open ten times, morning and afternoon opening of such school and attendance of such child being separately counted; but nothing herein contained shall affect the said section except as regards the number of required attendances at school of any such child. This section shall only apply to any child living in the Electoral Districts of Adelaide, Port Adelaide, and Torrens, and Municipal Corporations outside of such districts.

3. Except so far as the same are hereby altered, this Act,
