No. 879. .An Act to Validate certain Assessments made by
District Councils.
HEREAS by section133 of" The District Councils Act,Preamble.
Amendment Act, 1904," it is provided that District Councils shall, | W 1887," as amended |

as aforesaid; and whereas it is desirable to validate and make such assessments legal and effectual-Be it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Austtdia, with the advice and consent of the Parliameu t thereof, as follows: |
1. This Act may be cited as '' The District Councils Asvessmentashort title.

twelve months ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and six, under the principles laid down by section 133 of " The District Councils Act,
l887 ," before such section was amended by section3 ofL The Uistrict Councils Amendment Act, 1904,"' instead of making the said assessment under the principles laid down by the said section133 as amended by section3 of the said " The District Councils Amendment Act, 1904," such assessment is hereby validated and confirmed, and shall be as legd and effectual as if i t had been made under the principles last mentioned.
