1881,"

and "The Civil Service Amendment Act of 1894."

E it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South ,4ustralia,

follows:

B with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as

Short title.

1, This Act may be cited as " The Civil Service Further Amend-

ment 'Act, 1905."

Amendment of eec.

2, Notwithstanding the provisions of section 3 of the " Civil 3 ,f ~~t 231,1881.

Service Amendment Act, 1881

," and

The Civil Service Amendment

Act of 1894," the leave of absence which the Governor may grant pursuant to the said section and Act to any person in the Civil Service or in the employ of the South Australian Government shall, as regards every person entering or joining the said Civil Service or becoming an employ6 of the said Government after the passing of this Act, be limited to half the respective periods which the Governor might heretofore have granted.

Amendment of sec. 1

3, Section l of

The Civil Service Amendment Act of 1894 " is , fact 607, 1894.

hereby amended by striking out the words "on the provisional and

temporary list " in the fourth and fifth lines thereof.

4, The said Act shall be read and construed as if the said words theteof.

had never been inserted therein.
