An Act to amend the Law relating to the Protection

of Children.

E it Enacted by the Governor of the State of South Australia,

follows:

1. This Act may be c.ited as " The Children's Protection Amend- short title andineor-

as one Act with

'l'he Children's Protection Act, 1899," and all Acts

amending the same.

2. Any person who shall sell, lend, or give, or offer to sell, lend, peaor mppl&qe t,

or give, to any child actually or apparently under the age of p,,dt,,.

tobacco, &G.,

sixteen years any tobacco, cigar, or cigarette, shall be guilty of an offence under this Act, and shall be liable to a penalty of not ex- ceeding Five Pounds.
