An Act to enable certain Electors within the
Police District of Dubbo to vote during the

Year 1869-1870 for the Electoral District of

The Bogan. [13th November, 1869.]

nine-seventy were not revised as by law directed and required between WHEREAS the Electoral Lists of the Electoral District of The Bogan for the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-
the eighteenth and twenty-eighth days of April one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine and by reason of such irregularity the existing Electoral Boll of persons qualified to vote for the election of Members of the Legislative Assembly for the said Electoral District does not contain the names of certain persons whose names but for such irregularity would have been duly entered on such Boll And whereas it is expedient that the persons whose names have been so omitted from the said Boll should nevertheless be enabled to vote at Elections for the said Electoral District Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—
1. Every person whose name is entered on the list purporting to be the Revised List of persons qualified to vote for the election of Members of the Legislative Assembly for the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine-seventy for the Electoral District of The Bogan;an the revision of which list was certified by the Revising Justices on the seventh day of June one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine shall be entitled to vote as aforesaid for the said district as if his name had been entered in the existing Boll of such Electoral District and shall in all respects be subject to the provisions of the Electoral Act of 1858 as if his name had been entered in such Electoral Boll And the Returning Officer of the said Electoral District shall cause a Supple­ mentary Boll to be made out according to the provisions of the twenty- sixth section of the said Electoral Act containing the names of all persons entered in such certified list as aforesaid which are omitted from the said Electoral Boll.

2. This Act may be cited as " The Bogan Electorate Act."
