'may be cited together as '' The Adelaide University Acts,
1874 to 1911."
2, This Act is incorporated with the other Acts mentioned inIncorporation w i h section 1 hereof, and those Acts and this Act shall be read as

I n addition to the members of the Council of the University |
elected as provided by the principal Act, there shall be five members |

Parliament of the said State; and from the time of the appointment of the first five members under this Act the membership of the said Council shall be increased accordingly.

(2) The said members shall be appointed by ballot.
(8) No person shall be eligible for appointment under this Act unless he is a member of the House of Parliament by which he is appointed.

7. When a vacancy in the office of a member appointed under this Act occurs through dcath, resignation, or otherwise, a member to fill the vacancy shall be appointed by the House of Parliament which appointed the member whose ofice has become vacant; and the member so appointed shall hold office for the remainder of the | ||

House of Assembly, as the case may be, certifying that the person or persons therein named has or have been appointed
u member or members under this Act, shall be conclusive evidence of the matters therein stated and of the validity of the appointment.

Act, in every year a grant of Four Thousand Pounds shall be paid
increased by $4,000. out of the General Revenue to the University, to be applied for
the purposes mentioned in the said section.
