An Act to make further provisions with respect to the labelling of textile products; for this purpose to amend the Textile Products Labelling Act, 1954, as amended by the Decimal Currency Act, 1965; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 16th December, 1968.]

Textile Products Labelling {Amendment).

(2) The Textile Products Labelling Act, 1954, as No. 69, 1968

amended by the Decimal Currency Act, 1965, and by this Act, may be cited as the Textile Products Labelling Act, 1954-1968.

(3) This Act shall commence upon a day to be appointed by the Governor and notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.

2.     The Textile Products Labelling Act, 1954, as amended Amendment

by the Decimal Currency Act, 1965, is amended— 26^ 95̂ °

(a) (i) by inserting in section three next after the Sec. 3.

No. 69, 1968 not less than ninety-five per centum by weight of wool and specialty animal fibres may, where the weight of wool is not less than eighty per centum of the weight of aU fibres contained in the products, include the words “pure wool” or the words “aU wool” ; and if the words “pure wool” or the words “all wool” are so included then the provisions of paragraph (c) of the said subsection shall not apply.
