  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Terrorism Insurance Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 1).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on 1 July 2007.

  1. Amendment of Terrorism Insurance Regulations 2003

Schedule 1 amends the Terrorism Insurance Regulations 2003.

  1. Transitional

The amendments made by Schedule 1 apply to a contract of insurance that is commenced or renewed on or after 1 July 2007.

Schedule 1          Amendments

(regulation 3)

[1]          Schedule 1, after item 5

insert

5AA contract of insurance underwritten by the government of the Australian Capital Territory or the Northern Territory that is not a contract of insurance provided by a body owned by the government of the Territory.

[2]          Schedule 1, item 8, paragraph (c)

omit

Northern Territory; or

insert

Northern Territory.

[3]          Schedule 1, item 8, paragraphs (d), (e) and (f)

omit
