1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Terrorism Insurance Amendment Regulations 2003 (No. 1).

2Commencement

These Regulations commence as follows:

1. (a)

   on gazettal — regulations 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;

2. (b)

   on 16 October 2003 — Schedule 2.

3Amendment of Terrorism Insurance Regulations 2003

Schedules 1 and 2 amend the Terrorism Insurance Regulations 2003.

Schedule 1Amendments commencing on gazettal

(regulation 3)

  

[1]Schedule 1, paragraph 8 (e)

substitute

(e) a public authority of a State, or an instrumentality or agency of the Crown in right of a State, other than:

1. (i)

   a body by which the Crown carries on a business; or

2. (ii)

   a local governing body established by or under a law of a State, other than a body whose sole or principal function is to provide a particular service, such as the supply of electricity or water; or

   trailers (other than trailers, used in mining or construction activities, that would not ordinarily be registered to travel by road);

3. (c)

   rail and tram rolling stock.
