An Act to amend the Territory Records Act 2002

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

  1. Name of Act

    This Act is the Territory Records Amendment Act 2007.

  2. Commencement

    This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

    NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

  3. Legislation amended

    This Act amends the Territory Records Act 2002.

  4. Section 2

    Part 3 (Access to records) commences on 1 July 2008.

  7. Review of Act

    (1)The Minister must review the operation of this Act as soon as practicable after 1 July 2009.

    (2)The Minister must present a report on the outcome of the review to the Legislative Assembly not later than 1 July 2010.

    (3)This section expires on 31 December 2010.
