(Amendment) Act (No. 4) 1997

An Act to amend the Territory Owned Corporations Act 1990

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

Short title

1.  This Act may be cited as the Territory Owned Corporations (Amendment) Act (No. 4) 1997.

Commencement

2.  This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette.

Principal Act

3.  In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Territory Owned Corporations Act 1990.1

Annual report

4.  Section 22 of the Principal Act is amended by—

(a)omitting from subsection (1) “4 months” and substituting “the prescribed time”;

(b)omitting from subsection (4) “15” and substituting “6”; and

(c)inserting in subsection (5) the following definition:

“ ‘prescribed time’ means the time fixed under section 11 of the Annual Reports (Government Agencies) Act 1995 or, if that time has been extended in accordance with that Act, that time as extended;”.
