AVorks Act, 190!), the Legislative Assenilily did, hy resolu tion, declare tluit it ivas e.vpedient to carry out a certain work, namely, the construction of a line of railway from Teinora to AVyalong : And whereas on the passing of tlie said resolution a statutory duty was hy the said Act imposed on the Secretary for I’uhlic AVorks to introduce a Bill into the said Assembly to sanction the carrying out of the said work: Bo it therefore (macted by the King’s Alost Excelhmt Majesty, by and ivitli the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Kow South AValcs in Earliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—^

1 . This Act mav be cited as the “ Temora to Wyalong Bailway sh o r t title .

| 2 . The carrying | out | of | the said work (more p a r t i c u l a r l y Work sanctioned, |
described in the Schedule to this iVet) is hereby sanctioned; and the Secretary for Public AVorks, or tlie Member of the Executive Council for the time being performing the duties of the said Secretary, is hereby authorised to undertake and carry out the said work, subject to the provisions of this Act, and for that ]mrj)ose shall be, and shall have the powers and duties of, a Constructing Authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act, 1900.
3 . The plan of the said work is the plan marked “ Tcmora to Phm of work.
AVyalong llailway ” signed by the Secretary for Public AA'orks and countersigned by the Engineer-iu-Chinf for llailway Construction, and deposited in the public oilice of the said Secretary.
4 . 'Ihe cost of carrying out the said work, (‘stimatc'd at one Cost, how to be

This line is .an c.xteusioii of the Cootamundra lo Tcmora Eraiicli ltail\va_v, and bo' îiis at two hundred and nincty-ouc miles sixty-thrcc cliains fifty-four links from Sydney, and proceeds north north-westerly occupyiiif; with the excej)tion of about a mile, near three himdred miles, one side of the main road to AVyalong, pa.ssing the mining township of Trungly at three hundred and five miles, to within about four and a lialf miles of Harmedman, where it diverges slightly to the north, crossing the main road, and pas.sing that township on its western side ; it then adjoins the western side of tlie main road to about three hundred and thirty-one miles, I'.ere the lino bends wi^stward jiassing south of AV’̂ yalung, and ends at the southern sideofAVest AVyalong at three hundred and tliirty-threo miles thirty-one chains lifty-four links from .Sydney ; being a total distance of forty-one miles forty-eight chains, and sub ject to such deviations and modifications as may be considered desirable by tlie Coiistructing Authority,
